Draft amendments to Communications and Multimedia Act get AGC’s nod

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 — The draft amendments to the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588) have been approved by the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC), announced Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching.

PDPA amendments to curb data breaches to be tabled in Parliament by year end — Minister

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 25 — The draft amendment to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) to curb personal data breaches is expected to be presented in Parliament before the end of this year.
